WildBlue Enhances Webmail and Mail Filtering FREE!!!!!

WildBlue Satellite Internet Email FilteringAn Email from WildBlue quietly made it’s way into my inbox this afternoon. Lo and behold, it was trumpeting a new interface for WildBlue Webmail. It appears that WildBlue is very much interested in enhancing your Internet and in particular, your Email experience. Very refreshing!

Those of you using Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Thunderbird and a myriad of other email clients may not have utilized the web based email that WildBlue provides on it’s portal. As someone that had an occupation that required me to travel 80% of the time, Webmail came in very handy. I could use any computer available and access my email directly from a web page. When traveling to the outpost of Dawson, Minnesota, Webmail enabled me to stay in touch and receive important information without having to hunt down a pay phone or trying to get a few bars to show up on my cell phone. Prior to Webmail one became a contortionist in order to get that elusive signal from the cellular tower.

WildBlue states that it is migrating to this new interface in it’s efforts to continually strive to improve and enhance their customer offerings.

Your email items will automatically migrate to the new WildBlue interface. If you are using a calendar or rules in the existing WildBlue webmail interface, these will not automatically transfer over into the new interface. It will be necessary for you to recreate your calendar entries and rules that you presently have in place. Rules will generally be fairly simple to recreate, but make sure that you have appointments and other important dates written down somewhere so that once the interface change takes place you can transfer them into the new webmail program.

All of your contacts such as email addresses will automatically migrate to the new interface. Also, there are no changes necessary as far as your mail settings are concerned. You will be able to check your folder size on a separate screen and have more control over the size of your email folders.

Any questions feel free to contact your service provider as they will be happy to help you get the most out of your service. Thank you WildBlue for continuing to improve the Internet and online experience for all of us.
