Oh, how I love Ohio! From Great Lake Erie to the grand Ohio River are miles of swamps inhabited by gators and snakes. Not really. They did have
an area in the northwest portion of the state that was called the Great Black Swamp but it has since been drained and turned into fertile farmland. No gators or snakes were harmed in the process, most likely because they didn’t have any to begin with! They do have rural satellite internet access, though, so if a tropical critter were to turn up, a photograph or video could be taken and uploaded to YouTube for the world to see and wonder.
